For the fifth straight year, the “elves” at Martha C. Brown & Associates were very busy preparing holiday gifts for the elderly. These gifts are donated to senior adults who are without family at various nursing homes in the St. Louis area. This ensures that these elderly residents have a gift to open during the holidays. Gifts have consisted of fuzzy warm socks, hats, scarves and blankets. The gifts are delivered to the nursing homes so that the residents have them in time for their holiday parties and have a gift to open.
Each year the number of items that have been donated have steadily increased; this year over 150 blankets were delivered to these grateful seniors.
A portion of the blankets were donated by the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired. These blankets were lovingly hand-made by individuals who are blind or have visual impairments. The blankets are so beautiful and were a nice addition to this gift-giving contribution
