Medicaid Benefits

Medicaid benefits in Missouri are known as MO HealthNet. Because the program operates through both federal and state rules, eligibility can be confusing and highly specific.
We help clients determine how they may become eligible for benefits and how to remain eligible when life changes occur, including receiving an inheritance or other asset changes.
Vendor, Nursing Home Medicaid
Nursing home care can quickly deplete savings. Many Missouri residents in skilled nursing facilities rely on Medicaid benefits to help cover these costs, and eligibility rules involving income, assets, transfers, and division of assets are complex.
Non Spenddown Benefits
This traditional Medicaid program is for individuals who are aged, blind, or disabled and meet eligibility requirements. It may also open access to related services and programs.
Spenddown Benefits
This program provides the same core coverage, but the recipient must pay a monthly spenddown amount in order to receive benefits.
Adult Expansion Group
Missouri’s Adult Expansion Group program focuses on household income and does not use an asset limit in the same way as some other Medicaid programs.
