The Alzheimer’s Association has released a new app, called My ALZ Journey, with resources and tools for people with early-stage Alzheimer’s, or other forms of dementia. The app is intended for both individuals with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers. The app can be accessed on either phones or tablets, but not computers. The app is available for free on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The app can connect people to local resources, information about adjusting to life with Alzheimer’s, and tools and checklists to help people remain independent. Since the app was developed by the Alzheimer’s Association, the app was built with the input of people who have lived with dementia.
